Taffy
(2/19/07-11/05/08)
She was another adorable yellow lab puppy. But then she had a strange potbelly and a frighteningly low WBC count. She eluded all the doctors and specialists. When she reached 4-5 months, Taffy quit growing. She was the "forever puppy". Taffy came in for endless blood draws, blood transfusions and other tests, yet she never walked in the door with anything less than a smile on her little yellow face. She was the happiest little puppy, bright eyes, and tail wagging.
She was a great big sister when her family adopted Num Num, another yellow lab puppy. The two would come to board together and share a cage, two perfect little angels.

Then the day came when Taffy became so sick, there was no way left to help her. Taffy was a spark in all of our lives and she will never be forgotten.
"She may have been the eleventh dog I`ve had but will forever be number one."-Taffy`s mom
