Veterinary Nurse
Annie first started at ORAH in October of 2004. She is one of our most experienced nurses. In addition to caring for hospitalized patients, assisting with surgical procedures, and educating clients, Annie helps to maintain a fresh supply of all necessities for the hospital.

Veterinary Nurse Supervisor
Stacy was with Dr. Flieg when she opened the practice back in 1992. She has worked in the animal field all her life, having worked at pet supply stores prior to starting at a veterinary hospital in Schaumburg. It was here that she first met Dr. Flieg. When Dr.

Dr. Audrey Hart
Veterinarian
Dr. Audrey Hart joined Orchard Road Animal Hospital in September of 2023. She received a B.A. in Biology and Art from Grinnell College, a small liberal arts school in Iowa. She then attended the University of Iowa State, graduating with honors. She was also awarded the Bob Rosenthal Senior Student Award for Proficiency in Clinical Oncology.

Dr. Kristen Kennedy
Veterinarian
Dr. Kristen Kennedy joined Orchard Road Animal Hospital in July of 2008. She graduated from Augustana College in Rock Island, IL, with a B.A. in Biology. She then attended The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating with Phi Zeta honors. After graduating, Dr. Kennedy completed an externship in Cleveland, OH, with an internal medicine and oncology specialist.

Dr. Joel Huffman
Veterinarian
Dr. Joel Huffman graduated from the University of Illinois in 1996 with a degree in Chemistry before deciding to pursue advanced education in veterinary medicine. He went on to attend the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating with his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2003. He has worked at Orchard Road Animal Hospital ever since, providing veterinary care to the community for over 20 years.

Dr. Cheryl Distajo
Veterinarian
Dr. Cheryl Distajo joined the staff at Orchard Road Animal Hospital in June of 2002. She graduated from Ball State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology. She attended the University of Illinois – College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating with honors. While in school, Dr. Distajo developed a special interest in internal medicine.

Owner / Veterinarian
Dr. Linda Flieg opened Orchard Road Animal Hospital in 1992 as a full-service veterinary clinic providing quality health care for pets in a warm and caring environment. Dr. Flieg believes in improving pet health by incorporating nutrition, exercise, environment, medicine, and surgery.
